Meeting July 9, 2007
The meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m.

The minutes for the July 9th meeting were approved.
Director’s Report:
Circulation for July was 4,838, compared to 4,441 in July of 06. Kelly is completing the Annual Report Information Survey for the MBLC. Kelly will attend CORI training. Two job openings (Shelver and Senior Library Technician) were posted. The summer reading program has been very popular. Kelly has been getting quotes for the library move to temporary quarters.
Temporary Quarters:
After paying the lease of the TQ, there will be $8,000 left budgeted for the move. Kelly raised the possibility of using state aid money to help pay for the move.
We need to check to see if the town’s building insurance can cover the contents of the library in its’ temporary quarters.
We also need to find out if snow removal, etc. is included in the monthly fee. A list of items will be compiled, and will check with Dr. Freidus.
LLC Update:
The Library Construction Committee will be meeting with the five architectural company finalist to hear their proposals and will have a recommendation by the end of September.
Performance review:
Bob will work on changing the template for Kelly’s annual review. Kelly will research other Library Director’s reviews.
